Xinyuan (Lisa) Zhang
Producer, Director
Xinyuan (Lisa) Zhang is currently a medical student at Stanford University. She was born and raised in Beijing and came to the United States at age 20 to pursue a career in medicine and health care. She enjoys looking at healthcare from multi-disciplinary lenses, including storytelling and visual art representation, as well as working with people with engineering and business mindsets in the field of longevity and non-communicable diseases in developing countries. Her current projects include designing high density flexible electronic device in mapping cardiac arrhythmia, and developing low-cost automatic eye disease diagnostic tool for the global health challenge.

Maren Monsen MD
Executive Director
Maren Monsen is a physician, filmmaker and clinical ethicist. She directs the Program in Bioethics and Film at the Stanford Center for Biomedical Ethics in the medical school where she has produced multiple nationally and internationally broadcast documentary films, including Emmy-nominated The Revolutionary Optimists, about kids in Kolkata India making grassroots change to improve global health in the slums and brickfields, and Rare, the story of one extraordinary mother's race against time to find a cure for her daughter's rare genetic disease.
